Software & Support – Additional Information


a. Half day set-up and induction

Purpose

  • Introduce you to Kashflow
  • Set up the software to suit your business
  • Demonstrate key features across three support ‘modules’, which cover the software in increasing detail
  • Agree monthly routines

Content

Module 1 (approx. 1-2 hours)

  • Confirm log in details for client and Base52 to share
  • Enter company information
  • Configure the Chart of Accounts, amending if required depending on the nature of your business
  • Bank – setting up bank feed in Kashflow either via online autofeed feature, or by uploading CSV statements downloaded from you bank’s own website.
  • Logging in and navigating the home ‘dashboard’
  • ayroll add-on set up if required: linking the payroll feature to Kashflow Accounts which simplifies entering payroll information into the accounts

Module 2 (approx. 1 hour)

  • reate a customer
  • Create a supplier
  • Create invoices for sales and purchases
  • Recording Director expenses and director’s loan accounts if applicable.

Payroll add-on only

  • Adding employee details, including salary and ongoing deductions
  • Processing payroll: inputting hours worked and hourly rates for employees
  • Understanding RTI submissions and how to submit these to HMRC from within Kashflow

Module 3 (approx. 1 hour)

  • Review of first month’s activity and postings
  • Assistance with bank postings and reconciliation procedures
  • Deal with any immediate queries regarding using Kashflow
  • Producing reports such as Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance based on postings
  • Agree a routine, monthly or quarterly as appropriate

b. Annual review

Purpose

  • To ensure you are confident using Kashflow and achieving maximum benefit from the software
  • Deal with any questions or concerns
  • Demonstrate any new features or developments which may enhance how use you the software

c. Telephone and email support

  • Assistance with day-to-day queries of using Kashflow
  • Support available during office hours
