Senior Accountant – Maternity Cover
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team working in a dynamic and varied accounts environment. We’re looking for someone to cover maternity leave from December 2019 to March 2020, with the potential to extend or make permanent. You’d need to work a minimum of 25 hours per week over four or five days.
Role summary: Working as part of a small team, you will report to the team leader and be responsible for preparing financial accounts, corporation tax computations, VAT returns and management accounts for your team’s clients. We’d like someone with a minimum of three years practice experience, AAT/ATT qualified/part qualified or part qualified for one of Chartered bodies. You’ll need experience in using IRIS, Sage and Xero, as well as preparing and filing annual accounts and corporation tax returns for limited companies and preparing and filing VAT returns for limited companies.
Do you have a minimum of five GCSEs, including maths with grade B (level 6) or above? Are you comfortable with using technology and ideally knowledge and experience of using Excel, Sage and Xero? Salary range: depends on experience. A study support package for AAT will be available.
Marketing and sales executive
Are you a recent marketing graduate with a 2:1 degree or better? Are you outgoing and confident with great communication skills? Do you enjoy working in a small team and are passionate about delivering outstanding results?
Role summary: Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy, managing sub-contractors and suppliers to achieve deadlines and supporting the Managing Director with managing the new business sales pipeline.
